40 + Appetizer recipes that are bite-sized and easy to make
- 9 oz Artichoke hearts, drained and chopped I used marinated artichoke packed in sunflower oil, but you can use one packed in brine
- 150 g Boursin swap with cream cheese
- ⅓ cup Mayonaise
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ½ cup Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon onion granules
- 1 teaspoon garlic granules
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce or to taste
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Keep your screen from dimming
-
Warm up the oven to 170C/350F
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine Boursin, mayonnaise, grated parmesan cheese (set aside about 2 Tablespoons for later), cheddar cheese, onion granules, garlic granules, hot sauce, then blend until smooth using a hand mixer or a spatula.Sample the mixture and adjust with salt and pepper as needed. (This step is optional.)
-
Stir in the chopped artichoke and mix together with a spatula.
-
Move the mixture into a shallow, oven-safe baking dish and smooth it out with a spatula. Finish by sprinkling the remaining grated parmesan cheese over the surface.
-
Put the artichoke dip in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until it turns bubbly and looks golden at the edges.
-
Take it out of the oven and let it sit for roughly 5 to 10 minutes. Then serve and have fun with crostini, crackers, a cheese twist, breadsticks, or whatever you prefer. Enjoy!
- You can keep it in the refrigerator for as long as two days in an airtight container.
- To warm it up: Reheat in the microwave in short intervals until it reaches your preferred temperature. Reheat only once, and don’t put it back in the fridge afterward.
